Gears is a marble game at its heart: tilt your phone or tablet to roll a steampunk ball around the 3D environment, reaching the end of the stage and collecting as many McGuffin points as you can without falling off. But the graphics are surprisingly great (it's based on the Unity engine), and there's at least some attempt made at a story. If you don't like tilt controls, there's also a swipe option.
